About John & Tammy Martin

Our Background

John and Tammy Martin are Founders of the Young Black Leadership Alliance (YBLA), a non-profit headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. Their mission is to develop high achieving young Black men and women to make a positive impact on the world.

After 18 years leading YBLA, the Martins credit God for the creation and success of the organization. YBLA is more than just a nonprofit; it's a ministry for them, shaping leaders from high school to young professionals. They've impacted over 15,000 young Black leaders, who've in turn impacted over 200,000 people worldwide.

Our goal is to build a global community of supporters for our young leaders. Every successful and thriving young Black leader needs a village to provide support and resources to fuel their growth and development.
